In part two of the annual model drawing program, we learn more about the later stages of the drawing process. We first work with Still Life objects to analyse value relationships and how to translate this to paper. Later during the course we will draw the human figure, and apply the lessons learned to this genre. What’s included: - Lot of time with life models so we will learn by observing nature - We learn about values and how to translate them in a convincing way - An introduction to the stages of the classical drawing process -Study works from the old masters - We developed a digital environment where you can find all the information we share and homework assignments for each week For whom: This course is created for those who completed the course Modeldrawing 01. If you are an experienced drawer who would like to join, get in touch with Ilse to discuss the possibilities. This course will be given by Frank de Vreeze. He has been a student from Ilse for a couple of years and her teaching assistant during the drawing program 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. We feel that he is more than ready to share is knowledge with others. (The course will proceed when a minimum of 8 students have registered. Should this number not be reached, we will refund the course fee.)
