The introduction course

To meet the needs of the student, we have developed an introductory course to the model drawing program. If you wish to follow this year long program we strongly recommend that you start with these basic classes. Questions that we normally don’t have time for will be answered here. During this course we will teach you how to arrange your workspace, what materials to choose and how to use them, what the classical drawing method is all about, how to prepare yourself for the lessons, and how to organize your homework assignments. This course will be given by Frank de Vreeze. He has been a student from Ilse for a couple of years and started as a teaching assistant during the drawing program 2024/2025 and 2025/2026. We feel that he is more than ready to share is knowledge with others. (The course will proceed when a minimum of 7 students have registered. Should this number not be reached, we will refund the course fee.)
